All about the new book - The Story of  Brockville
 

Candles in the Cabin is a favorite of students who come to the Museum.

Study the lives of early settlers in Eastern Ontario. Learn why the United Empire Loyalists came to Canada and how their live were affected during their first winters in Canada. Where did they live and how did they light their homes on those long winter nights?

Children will make a hand-dipped candle and Johnny Cake.

Grades 1 to 7 — $4 per student    MUSEUM "ON THE GO"
