All about the new book - The Story of Brockville

The Brockville Museum is pleased to be part of the “Brockville/1000 Islands Region - Doors Open Ontario.”

Each year, on the last Saturday in May, we open our doors, along with 31 other participating sites to welcome visitors from Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston and points in between.

In 2007, a photography contest was held for secondary school students. Their mission was to photograph historical structures in this part of Ontario. The first place winner was Nick Sheridan, a student from Thousand Islands Secondary School in Brockville.

The contest will be held again in 2008, and we look forward to seeing the imagination and talent displayed by these young photographers.
