The Brockville Museum aims to encourage families and children to engage in our past, whether they're visiting on a weekend outing or participating in a special program. We want kids to feel welcomed and to have an enjoyable museum-going experience. We are pleased to offer a number of different museum experiences for children, depending on how and with whom they visit. If you have any questions about any of our programs, please contact us.
Visiting the museum as a family? Our back-pack program provides fun and interactive activities that engage children (and parents) with our exhibits. Search the museum's exhibits for hidden postcards and learn about Brockville's history through games and activities. Geared for children 4-11 accompanied by an adult.
Children's Pioneer Play Room
Young families visiting the museum can take some time during their visit to play and explore in our children's room. Children can explore and re-enact life as a pioneer through a child-sized log cabin, pioneer costumes and forest creature puppets.
The Brockville Museum is pleased to offer Birthday Party Packages for children 6-12. We provide the entertainment and a space, you bring the cake. We offer two different experiences to choose one, both sure to make your child's birthday unique and memorable.
