The Brockville Museum offers a range of options to accommodate your group. We can also customize any package to meet your specific needs. Many groups choose to combine two of the options listed below. Please contact us to discuss group tour options or to book your tour.
Step-On Guide, City Tour
Let one of our costumed docents guide your bus through Brockville’s history. We will highlight some of Brockville’s most notable landmarks and share the stories of the people who called this place home. A great way to introduce your group to Brockville’s rich past from the comfort of your bus. Approximately 1 hour in length.
Museum Self-Guided Tour
Let your group explore Brockville’s history at their leisure. Docents will be posted throughout the galleries to answer questions and discuss displays. A great way to give your group a break and allow for a self-directed experience. Allow approximately 30-45 minutes.
Looking for something more in-depth? Our Interpretation and Public Program Coordinator can provide an informal lecture on a range of historical topics. We recommend allowing 30-45 minutes for this option in addition to time to visit the museum's galleries and displays which is included in the fee for this option.
Looking for a light refreshment break? Our volunteers are always happy to host an afternoon tea. Tea and treats are served on real china in a sit-down setting (no plastic dishes here!). Allow approximately 30 minutes depending on the size of your group. Please note that this option may only be booked in conjunction with a self-guided museum tour.
Criminal Past Walking Tour
Hear the story of one of Canada’s largest bank heists, the twisted tale of the last man hanged in Brockville, what happened during the Queen's visit, and many other factual stories! This entertaining 1 hour walking tour takes a look at Brockville's downtown from a very different perspective.
