War Heroes

This web site is dedicated to the memory of those Brockville citizens who served in World War 1, World War 2, Korean War, and U.N. Peacekeeping.

It is hoped that future generations will benefit from this record in the quest to remember those who served our country and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

In this web site, you will find local and area military history. As well as those who gave their lives for Crown and country, and those who returned.

Each section,"Churches, Employers, Hospitals, Organization, Other, Schools and War heroes" has a listing of those men and women whose names are acknowledged on the various memorial plaques throughout the city of Brockville. The names on this site are by no means a complete list of the brave Brockvillians who fought for their country, to provide the freedoms that we enjoy today.

If we have forgotten someone or missed an important date in history please contact the Brockville Museum at info@brockvillemuseum.com

The Organization of Military Museums of Canada (OMMC) started this project, in an effort to create a complete online database of all Military Memorials in Canada.
