Join the Friends of the Brockville Museum on a bus tour to Exporail, Canada’s largest railway museum, located in St. Constant, southwest of Montreal.
Departing from the Brockville Museum by motorcoach at 8:30 sharp and arriving at approximately 10:30 a.m. you will enjoy a guided tour of the indoor part of the museum and then spend the afternoon exploring on your own. You will be able to ride both the garden railway and the street car, explore the Discovery Trail, see the new exhibit “Meals on Wheels” or take in the IMAX-style film “Rocky Mountain Express”. The museum also features extensive static displays, model trains, and the fully reconstructed Barrington and Hays stations.
Lunch is included - you will be given lunch vouchers for Château Grec, across the road from the museum, where you can choose one of three specially selected entrees (lasagna, chicken brochette with rice, salad and potatoes, or pork brochette with rice, salad and potates) as well as soup, dessert, and beverage. Departure time for the ride home will be 3:30 p.m. for an arrival back in Brockville between 5-5:30 p.m.
Tickets are only $75 per person for museum members and $80 for non-members and include all admissions, a three-course lunch, and well as transportation. Please confirm your spot by buying your ticket at the Brockville Museum, 5 Henry St., at your earliest convenience. Tickets are transferable but non-refundable.
